Nickates Stained Glass has been involved in all aspects of the glass industry for over 25 years. In the early days we specialized in church restoration on a national level. We divided the company into separate divisions during the 80's establishing a supplies, door and custom glass corporation. In the mid 90's with the advent of the internet we focused on retail stained glass supplies. Being one of the first dot com companies we quickly established great reputation for helping hobbist around the world. We are joined by hundreds of other retail companies focusing on direct stained glass supplies sales via the net.
How are we different from other companies.
>Well at one time we supported a paper catalog which made our prices high. Now with out the paper catalog we are 20-40% lower than anyone with a paper catalog.>We don't offer a flat $5 or $7 shiipping rate, penny shipping or free shipping. Companies with this practice are easy to spot. "They have the high prices to pay for your shipping".
> Find a company telling you they will beat anyone's price by 10%. Fact is any company offering this offer is banking on you not checking on our prices. If you hold them to it, don't hold your breath. They will get back to you in a week about matching our prices not beating them.

With over 25 years in business we are large enough to provide wholesale bulk pricing to resellers, instructors or artist requiring large stained glass purchases. Small enough to still answer the basic hobby questions. 99% of all orders received before 4 PM are shipped the same day M-F except for holidays and seasonal rushes. We stock what we sell unlike other companies which just take orders and process them over a 14-30 day period. We are FAST !!!!!! We are unable to take phone orders or add ons because we are so fast. Our inventory is controlled by the web site enabling you to purchase the product if you see the buy now buttons

WE offer you more than an e-bay account or P.O box. Our address and phone # is on 86 pages in our web site. Unlike other web sites we also offer you a retail location to shop at. A few notes to understand. The retail location doesn't accept credit cards or out of state checks. The pricing at our retail location is retail. Pricing is not discounted like our web site. And pricing is not structured for best buddy and bulk purchasing. Some products like kits or assortments are not available for walk in. The great things about visiting our retail location, you get to see the products, there are no boxing or handling charges, No minimum charges, no restocking fees. Best of all we can service your questions and express product information before you purchase. Then again you can take advantage of close outs we don't offer on the web.
